LIVE PERFORMANCE gathers energy. THE NETWORK gathers prompts. RITUAL is a machine for the production of gods. PAINTINGS launch gods into the future. PRODUCTION OF GODS "Humanity no longer discovers its gods. It manufactures them." Leo Kadele creates post-technological icons. Paintings no longer represent reality. They are constructed as instruments intended to alter it. Unlike traditional icons, they do not reflect an existing sacred order. Kadele's paintings are icons of an unstable world in which human beings continuously produce gods, ideologies, algorithms, and identities. ACTION Kadele is interested in states in which reality is still being negotiated. Wars, political conflicts, technological transformations, illness, religious movements, digital networks, and transitional societies are not subjects of his work but zones in which new forms of belief emerge. Rather than the safety of stable systems, he chooses the edges. The Balkans, India, Colombia, the internet, the dark web, and other spaces where old realities dissolve before new ones acquire a final form. Long-term exposure to such transitional states has gradually transformed him into a system of translation. As a result, he can recognize the same processes in war, political conflict, an AI prompt, a chance encounter on the street, or a family dinner. By inhabiting these "zones of the future," he gathers their conflicts, energies, and projections. Ritual translates them into icons, and the icons are launched back into the world as gods of the time to come. "Humanity no longer discovers its gods. It manufactures them."
